The three hours of instruction will cover agents pivotal role as gatekeeper of a line of coverage that has no limits. This course is an excellent refresher for insurance agencies wishing to improve their service and image to their customers. Specifically, the instructor will review key areas of ethics within an agency, common pitfalls within the industry and how the agent may help guide themselves and their clients through this often-misunderstood coverage. Specifics will be discussed regarding case law and criminal prosecutions along with how to identify unethical behaviors by carriers, agents, business owners or fraudulent claim activity and how to report incidents to the state.
